To subsidise the solar power supply, we were strongly advised to add at least one wind turbine. We purchased a kit from China; 500watt output at 12v. We will add at least one extra turbine of a different design in 2023. This one will be of a 3,200 watt capacity. If you divide the cost by the wattage output, wind power generation on this scale is 1/3 of solar power and can provide energy up to 24hrs a day rather than just daylight hours.
August 2018; the post was extended by another 4ft and made a 30% increase to the daily power generation.
Aug 2019; it has been put into storage to reduce wear and tear until the Mobile Home arrives. The test rig has been proved to be power productive.
